It is stupid and totally uncool to have financial differences and money problems with your own parents. I am not trying to take sides here but it is preety clear, at least to me, that what applies to the rest of the world should also apply to parents. WHat separates one from the other is that with a parent it is stronger, the bond of family should and must be beyond personal egos and goals when it comes down to business. Why the hell should a parent take advantage of his or her own spawn and this financially with a ruining result for the offspring.
Let's just think about it for a while. You lend your father some cash, not because he needs it, but because he wishes to use the money and help some friend of his. The job is done and all is ok. The deal was that money will be back with some interest -although that was not the main concern- in due time, which meant last summer. Times goes by, nothing happens. You ask for your money and you start to listen to some unclear words and stupid excuses and so on. Well this stincks.
SO is this or is it not a shitty situation? What can one do? Choose our parents, unfortunately we cannot. Just because they gave birth to us, it gives them the right to be loved? Or is this something someone has to earn, like the rest of the world? I may sound contradicting in some cases, and this is also one of my characteristics but the reason is that I try to have a thesis from as many points of view as possible.
